Wellbeing Wednesday - CMHW 25

Today as we arrive at the middle of Children’s Mental Health Week we are having lots of fun on Wellbeing Wednesday!

Staff enjoyed breakfast together before the school day started, with our Wellbeing Warriors serving toast, crumpets, pains au chocolat and lots of juices and hot drinks - it was great to catch up with colleagues before a busy day!

In classes pupils have been doing individual activities that they enjoy, like singing, using a computer, playing with bubbles and lights etc

Some groups have also been doing Yoga to help them to stretch their bodies, relax and unwind.

Meanwhile, S8 have been reading Greta and the Giants this term and learning about protests… So, they took part in a staged protest about the use of the recycling bins.

During their research they saw paper and plastic were being mixed and these needed to stay separate. So they made some signs, grabbed their drums and marched down the corridors with chants of ‘use the right bin’.

Classes poked their heads out and they certainly got some attention!
